It all started with a simple idea: “Pizza, beer, and ice cream.” In January of 2013, we opened our doors to celebrate this idea, but with our own twist. Here at Community Pie, we specialize in authentic Neapolitan and traditional New York Style pizza making, hand crafted, homemade gelato from our sister restaurant Milk & Honey, and a huge selection of craft beers. Pizza all over the world is usually associated with family style dining and is meant to share. Our goal is to deliver that same experience here at Community Pie. Our menu is structured in a way that allows you to order salads, pizza, wine and gelato to share at the table, and we highly encourage everyone to do so.

Zach Jones

Zach was raised in Bean Station, TN, and moved to Chattanooga in 2015. He spends his time cooking and relaxing with his fiancé and dog. He loves to play golf and spend time outdoors. One of his favorite parts about working at Community Pie is making pizza and seeing all the smiles on customers' faces when they watch through the window.
Caleb Vinson
general manager
Born and raised in Cullman, AL, Caleb is a devoted father and husband. He has a beautiful wife named Chloe, a two year old daughter, and a second little one on the way. When he isn't making pizza he enjoys training jiu-jitsu and combat sports, longboarding, and spending time with his family. After 6 years at Community Pie he claims that he still isn't tired of Pizza.

Sammie is a UTC graduate living in Chattanooga. She has worked with the MFRG for 6 years and is currently the Operating Partner at Community Pie Hamilton Place. Her two cats, Chip and Spoon, occupy her attention outside of work. She also enjoys spending time with friends and traveling when she can.
Keegan Szalay
GENERAL MANAGER
Keegan graduated from UTC with a degree in Business Management. She started off as a host 4 years ago and worked her way through almost all the positions within the company. Her favorite position has been Kitchen Manager. When she is not working you can find her shopping or trying a new recipe at home!
Karen Mendez
ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER
Karen is a Chattanooga native and a Community Pie veteran. She has worked at the Downtown location for the last 6 years. She has a lovely sister named Izzy and a brother named Jose. She is a lover of cats and has 12 of them. On her off days you can catch her going to concerts with her friends, or chasing Harry Styles around the country. She is also fluent in Spanish and a skilled translator.
